For any shipment starting September 1993, which is under the Pantry Shelf label, the external carton markings should be as shown below. Please note that this is only an example and that correct Pack/Product Name/Country of Origin/Number of Cases have to be changed for different products. Also, the external Can Code marking has become manditory and must be stencilled or written on each case.
Please DO NOT indicate the name of the packer on cartons.
If the above method is not followed and if there are problems related to rejection or recall, all costs incurred for recall will be assumed by the supplier/packer.
Carton panel markings are listed directly below each individual panel in order from top down. Markings are identified by cycling blue highlights on each item & its corresponding description. To view a single isolated panel at a time, click anywhere on that panel and it will be displayed. |
